about-me

I'm Evi Salguero

A Software Developer currently at IBM

Proud graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology. I studied computer science with concentrations in Information Internetworks and Artificial Intelligence. During my time at Tech I've worked with the College of Computing as an undergrad TA, teaching Python, C, and assisting students with learning the foundations of computing and computing systems and networks. I've also been involved with other Tech students as a part of the Christian Students club and the Honors Program. Being a part of the community at Tech and the greater Atlanta area has been an extraordinary experience.

After graduation, I started a job as a full time software developer at IBM. I'm so excited to continue to grow in my passion and knowledge of computer science.

Software Engineer Intern

For a summer internship as a junior, I worked as a software engineer intern with the Secure Processing Unit Integration & Testing Team (SPU-I&T) at Qualcomm. I created scripts to automate the analysis of key performance indicators in the areas of memory usage, memory performance, and security performance. I also created a dashboard in Confluence to capture KPI data across software releases. Worked remotely as part of a global team. Technologies used: Python, VBScript, PowerShell, Selenium, Jenkins.

Software Engineer Intern

For a summer internship as a sophomore, I had the opportunity to work as a software engineer for the Aladdin Product Group (APG). Along with three other interns, I developed a web application for teams within the company to track their integration tests, unit tests, and other methods of quality assurance. Our project allowed data from project builds to be added to our database and displayed on the dashboard in an accessible way. Technologies used to develop this dashboard include: Angular, Java, Apache Cassandra.
